Some people are in an unbearable amount of denial about where they are skill wise.
I dont believe for a second I am anywhere near where I want to be or have content people really want to see.
But I will keep going I will accept critique and use it to improve. Positive or negative.
You never know -- there could be trigger words. I ought to PM you or Skype you, to talk about this deeper -- I've not only been at the receiving end of things like these, but I've also had one incident like this where I found no other option but to respond with nearly the same vitriol that was given to me.
It all boils down to what one believes one can do, and it's complicated, I know. But the balance has to be maintained between pointing out flaws and good things, and going into the territory of beating one's art down. (I've taken a look at your art reviews by the way; I don't know what review could have caused such furore through a PM of any kind. If anything, you seem to give compliments quite a lot, and when something's off, you actually say something's off.)
I say what I feel is right or wrong with a piece. I am never personal when I look at peoples work.
I enjoy art all types all styles and try to find more positives than negatives.
But if I feel that if I spot something in there work ill make a comment about that.
Its never personal with me and I will never be rude or vulgar to anyone that has the courage to put themselves out here on the world wide web and show off there stuff.
I just wish more people where honest with one another but when people lie to themselves there not helping anyone. I am not picaso im a crummy 3d modeller whos trying to learn to doodle so who am I to say if your work is good or not. Just dont tell me critique is welcome and then freak out when its given.

Yeh I gave a very polite review of someones art and I was so baffled by there pm response.
It actually broke my mind. But people like that exist what can you do.
